This FREE open virtual class will be facilitated by our in-house Audio Engineering expert (and lead faculty) - Andy Ward where he will explore the importance of Digital Audio Workstation session setup and Drum Mixing.

The first section about DAW will include:

• Session templates
• Effect choices
• Colouring/labeling
• Importing the settings
• Mix preparation which includes:
• Groups - Colours
• Track organisation
• Stereo Vs Mono
• Noise and rumble removal

The second section about Introduction to drum mixing will include:

• Gain Staging
• Noise Gates
• Frequency analyser
• The Mono button
• Equalisation
• Referencing others
