Founder and CEO of Academy Plus, Ndidi Spencer Dyas has dedicated her life’s work to education, community engagement and the Creative Industries.  Her vision for Academy Plus was shaped by her experience from a range of disciplines and environments in her career, including as a school manager working with high achievers as well as at risk students, as a producer and director in film and theatre and as a professional screen writer for international production company Bad Wolf.  Throughout her career she has remained active in the industry both in tutoring emerging talent and as a presenter for a national entertainment channel. Her main passion of filmmaking led to her spearheading the production of a documentary series which she wrote, produced and directed.   Ndidi is highly lauded amongst her peers for her film making abilities and her contribution to the UK’s creative industry; as such she was invited to be a BAFTA Cymru (Welsh BAFTA) judge for the national awards.
