Re-Shape: Video & Editing for Teachers

Overview

Course Overview

This course is designed for teachers that want to enhance their skill set and create a learning experience which is relevant to Generation Z.

Visual and interactive lessons engage learners, making the teaching and learning experiences more dynamic, fun and current. Teachers will learn how to use video and editing techniques to enhance their lessons
and create content that will truly capture the learners' imagination.

This course is aimed at teachers who want to bring the contemporary life experience into the classroom. The course teaches how to hold the interest of the students of today, and in so doing increase achievement and decrease disciplinary issues.

For the teacher who is driven to bring their lessons alive and ignite the fire in each child, this course represents the ideal opportunity.

Kurt Minnaar, of Dreamer Education, facilitates the course. The Kraaifontein teacher uses his background as an accomplished hip hop dancer, who has represented
South Africa internationally, to teach pupils maths concepts through music, video and dance. His out-of-the-box teaching approach has caught the attention of national and international
media, and he has been featured in several print publications and on TV
shows both locally and internationally.

“Be the difference. If you see that something is wrong, fix it. If the leadership
isn’t doing what it’s supposed to do, step in. Own the problem.”

Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of course.
